Therapy

Do you have trouble making it through each day?

Do you feel overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, or alone? Through work with our providers in therapy, you can begin to feel grounded and connected again.

Psychotherapy is a collaborative experience.

We will work closely to examine the pieces of your journey that need more attention. Our providers likely don't have answers to your biggest questions — but you do. Together we will explore them with mindful compassion and show up for the hard work of being fully human.

While Center for Compassion specializes in grief and bereavement, our clinicians are trained general psychotherapists. You do not have to be grieving to be seen here.

Getting started

What the first few sessions look like

  1. 01

    Reach out

Fill in the Book Now form, or call or text us. Our client care coordinator responds within 1–2 business days and can set up a free 15-minute inquiry call.

  2. 02

    60-minute intake

Your first appointment is an hour. You and your provider decide together whether they can meet your needs — and if not, they will help you find someone who can.

  3. 03

    Weekly sessions

Ongoing sessions are 55 minutes. Weekly work is where most of the benefit lives, though your provider will set a pace that fits you.

Hurting? Reach out.

We're here to help.

Center for Compassion offers both telemedicine and in-person appointments based on availability. Someone from our team will get back to you within 1–2 business days.
