One of the hardest parts of traumatic grief is how isolating it is. The people around you
may mean well and still say something that lands as dismissal. You may find yourself
managing other people's discomfort about your loss on top of carrying the loss itself.
In a group, that management stops. Everyone in the room already knows. You can say your
beloved's name without explaining who they were, and you can be quiet without anyone
needing you to be okay.
Our groups are facilitated by licensed providers and are therapeutic rather than purely
social — there is structure, skill-building, and a clinician holding the space.
